The 70s fashion trends was indicated by Hippie look. This trend traces from the sixties and became a lifestyle in the era. You can see the loose fitting clothes, kaftans, kimonos, and Muu Muu’s. Materials which were used in the styles are like tailored, exotic, lined with silver or gold trimmings and glamorous touch, to name a few. It is because comfortable is the key of applying this hippie look. Once more, peace-symbolized accessories were a must in the fashion statement.

From the Hippie now we move to the 70s skirts. This could be called as the most wonderful era of skirts. Women had lots of choices of sweet skirts. They might opt midis, ankle length, mini, or even maxis. Oh, the order was like this: in the early 70s, the trend was maxi that usually paired with 2-4 inch platform shoes, then it was shortened to become midi, then in the last, women seemed to get more bitchy to cut off the skirts to be minis and even micro mini. Another skirt trend is knee length peasant skirts with racy reds and flirty pinks. It beautifully swirls and sweet. There was also what so called empire waists.

Trousers, trends that cannot be left behind if talking about fashion was also hot among the 70s women. It was usually paired with below hip jackets, or they wore sleeves.
